I graduated in Medicine at the University of Florence with honors in 2006, after internship and thesis at the University of Paris 5 in obstetrics, under the guidance of Professor Francesco Branconi. In 2007 I began my specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics in the FMH Swiss Medical Association, with internships in French-speaking Switzerland at the Hospitals of Geneva, Lausanne, Aigle and Morges.
In 2010 I had the opportunity to return to Paris for an intensive training in obstetrics and gynecological surgery, at the Hospital of Meaux and then of Fontainebleau. In 2013 I therefore obtained the Swiss specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics at FMH. During this European journey, I was lucky enough to perfect myself alongside colleagues and patients from all over the world, with very distant stories and cultures. I learned to work effectively and polyvalently, treating women with very different problems and horizons, regardless of language, values, needs and preferences, but with a clear goal: to accompany them and help them ensure that their body, in the its complexity and imperfection, can stay in tune with the mind and be a valuable resource for progress.
These experiences have taught me to communicate effectively in French and English, as in Italian, in a simple or complex way, depending on the need, because to heal it is better to understand your body. After the specialization, I carried out a 3-year intensive training program in the Hospitals of Chambéry and Annecy, taking on first-line roles at 3-level birth points, in the areas of emergency obstetric and gynecological surgery, maternal-fetal ultrasound and the treatment of cervico-vaginal HPV diseases.
After gaining further experience, working in the hospital in Guadeloupe, and then in hospitals in the Paris region, he chose to invest more than half of my time in a freelance activity in the Florentine area, my hometown, maintaining a part-time job in neighboring France.
